Magali Besnier, from CHU de Québec-Université Laval and Université Laval, talked about her work at the AAPM 2022 determining the small field output correction factors of various small field detectors using our innovative HYPERSCINT plastic scintillation detector as a reference.
Using TOPAS/GEANT4 simulations tools to refine the HYPERSCINT data, detector-specific small field output correction factors for the other detectors have been extracted and compared with current literature.
Notable e-poster on small field detectors at AAPM 2022 meeting
Take a look at her e-poster MO-H345-IePD-F3-5 presented at the AAPM 2022 conference online, to understand how to determine the small field output correction factors of various detectors using our HYPERSCINT plastic scintillation detector as a reference and to compare values with currently available data.
