During the commissioning of the Varian linear accelerators in their brand new clinic at CHU de Québec, Luc Gingras and his team carried out an exceptional comparative study using different detectors for small field dosimetry and state-of-the-art methodology.

This new scintillation dosimetry research platform – HS-RP200 from Medscint – shows great promises for small field dosimetry. It has the potential to be used as part of a single-detector no-correction-factor methodology.
